ILPO DESIGN: an all-accomplished project for a company with a sound expertise.

In the last few years ILPO has partly changed its way of doing business. The root causes of this change have not only been linked to the current contingent economic downturn situation - keeping in mind that this change was embryonic since time - but also are concretely witnessing the real true nature that has always characterized the DNA of this company.

In fact little by little ILPO modified itself leaving more and more space to branded productions, first of all the rigid polyurethane shells for contract applications: that is where ILPODESIGN comes from.

Why ILPODESIGN?

As said, ILPODESIGN is the natural evolution of a vocation already expressed histrionically in the mid Nineties. The creation of ILPODESIGN directly sprouts from the need to group all those activities not directly linked to projects or products requested on customer drawing that derive from a good idea coming from young or renowned designer, from partnerships with design school and universities and from a 45 years long experience

What does ILPODESIGN mean?

ILPODESIGN is really a container that includes the design, study, development and manufacture of rigid and flexible polyurethane components for the production of furniture, for contract applications and for furniture, toys and accessories for children. The term "design" might not sound enough to embody all this, because besides the pure design of the item it also considers the engineering, industrialization, manufacture and subsequent commercialization.

Insides this container we have four different product lines: ILPOCONTRACT, ILPOEDU, ILPOKIDS and BASIKLINE. Each of these lines specializes in a specific market segment from contract to early childhood, from home to school furniture.
