IKS - The foundation of success

The IKS shell, manufactured with rigid polyurethane foam, was designed in 1996 by Giovanni Baccolini. At the time when nobody would have bet on using polyurethane for the production of a seat, ILPO had a vision of the potential of this versatile material also for this specific application. With time the IKS shell has become a very distinguished product manufactured by ILPO and countless are sold around the globe for applications in the educational, contract or residential market segments. IKS is for ILPO a milestone, the real ancestor of all the newly developed shells. The IKS shell offers an interesting design, an excellent degree of flexibility and comfort and is supplied in 5 standard colors.
