PIKAIA

Designed by Angelo Natuzzi in 2004 the PIKAIA shell, manufactured with an innovative moulding process in rigid polyurethane, is part of the new product line for educational applications called ILPOEDU. In some geographic areas the shells of the ILPOEDU line are being used in schools since years with great success. The PIKAIA shell offers excellent mechanical properties and a very high level of resistance to fire. This shell is used in combination with different types of metal frames to furnish classrooms in different educational environments such as schools, universities and in professional training structures. PIKAIA is manufactured according to International applicable regulations and is supplied in an interesting finishing and in a variety of colors. Furthermore to satisfy the dimensional needs implied by the final use of the seats, they are made in three different sizes to include a wide range of heights.
